The Town of Petawawa will offer online pet registration in 2020.

When does online pet registration go into effect?

On the first business day of 2020, all pet owners will be able to register their pet via an online registration process, 365 days of the year. The option to register your pets in person at the Town Office will still be available, however, as with online registration, the tags will be mailed to you.

As before, rabies vaccination attestation is required at the time of registration and tagging.

What does it cost to register your pet in Petawawa?

Also as before, there is an *early bird* special cost of half-price for those registering their pets before March 1st, as well as a discount for those who have their pets spayed or neutered.

From their Facebook post on October 19, 2019:

The Town is moving to an online registration format in response to the request by many residents. The registration price for all previously registered pets during the registration period (January and February of 2020) is the $20/$25 rate for dogs and $10/$15 rate for cats). As always has been, if you fail to obtain the licence during the registration period, then the fees are at the higher rate.
